Mark Lowenstein
Mark Lowenstein serves as Vice President of Sign Language Partnerships and Innovation. He promotes partnerships with Deaf churches and ministries, innovates projects that advance our work, and seeks to strengthen the Deaf community within our organization. He came to Pioneer Bible Translators in 2018, serving first as Director of the Deaf Group, then as Vice President of Deaf Relations before assuming his current position in April, 2026. Mark holds an A.A. in Computer Science from Johnson County Community College and a B.A. in Biblical and Ministry Studies from Sunset International Bible Institute, where he later taught. He has also ministered in a local Deaf church and worked at Deaf Missions. He and his wife Michelle have three adult daughters and are proud grandparents.
