Clare Smitham

Clare Smitham began serving as our Chief Legal Officer in 2022. Prior to that she practiced estate planning, probate, property, and poverty law. She also advocated for low-income Texans through a legal aid ministry and is an active member of the Christian Legal Society. Clare graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and earned her law degree from Regent University School of Law. She has gone on several mission trips and taught children of cross-cultural workers at an international school in Papua, Indonesia. She enjoys sailing, art, reading, and writing. She and her husband Craig attend St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Dallas.
